Journey of Hope, Inc.'s Founder Shannon Miller-Cox (Ph.D.), has trained on a National Level when it comes to Trauma-Informed, Evidence-Based, Gender-Responsive Models of Care. Seeing the need for a Holistic Approach while working with formerly incarcerated individuals, Shannon witnessed the direct pipelines that lead to Prison; Especially for Women, Girls, and those who identify as Female. Shannon saw the formerly incarcerated Women for who they are; Not as an inmate, giving them the chance they truly deserved to start healing at a cellular level.
